Fox® 1090 Swing Frame Grinder

1090 Swing Frame Grinders offer excellent visibility and outstanding maneuverability. With the wheel turned 90 degrees from the typical swing grinder, the operator has much better visibility while grinding. A superior Hanger System allows for a perfectly balanced machine. It can be easily rotated for grinding on either side of a casting.

The Fox® 1090 Swing Frame Grinder offers excellent visibility and outstanding maneuverability. With the wheel turned 90 degrees from the typical swing grinder, the operator has much better visibility while grinding. A superior Hanger System allows for a perfectly balanced machine. It can be easily rotated for grinding on either side of a casting.This grinder can be used for grinding gate stubs, riser pads, parting line and core fins.

The wheel remains square with the work as the operator follows the parting line/gate areas along the length of the casting. It is ideal for use with a Fox® Casting Positioner so it allows flat or curved areas, as well as corners, to be cleaned as the casting is rotated.
